During the months of May and June, AFEC has been present in the General Assemblies of EHPA (European Association of Heat Pump) and EUROVENT (Association of the European Industry of the Indoor Climate, Process of Refrigeration and Technologies of the Cold Food). The company also attended the Heat Pump Forum in Paris.

EUROVENT

On 16 and 17 June, the 59th General Assembly of Eurovent was held in Verona (Italy).

The program included the meeting of the board of directors, to the one that attended José Antonio Sedano, in its quality of vice president of the European Association and member of the board of directors of AFEC, and the meeting of the Commission to the one that attended Pilar Budí and in the one that among other themes was treated on: Update of the "Declaration of Principles"; Situation of the diverse European Regulations of interest for the sector; New page WEB; International Relations; Summit of Eurovent 2016, etc.

The General Assembly was held on the 17th. After the session for EUROVENT members, the public session was held, with the following interventions:

• Carolin Spirinckx of VITO, (Research Institute): Life Cycle Assessment
• Stephen P. Corgnati, President-elect of REHVA (Federation of European Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning Associations): European Perspectives on Zero Emissions Buildings
• Erick Melkquiond, President of EUROVENT Certita Certification: Review of HVACR market development

A fact to emphasize is the congratulation that the President of EUROVENT, Alex Rasmussen, made to AFEC, by its 30 anniversary, like members of this European Association. Pilar Budí, thanked the support and collaboration received of EUROVENT during those 30 years, doing a special mention to the team of Eurovent, to its board of directors, to the Ex-presidents and to its current President.
