The past month of May, just as it happened in the year 2013, concentrated, because of the celebration of the general assemblies of EHPA, European Association of Heat Pump, and of EUROVENT, European Committee of Manufacturers of Treatment of Air and Refrigeration, an important part of the activity and presence of AFEC in the different European forums of the sector.

The 56ª General Assembly of EUROVENT, European Committee of Manufacturers of Treatment of Air and Refrigeration that was celebrated in Brussels the past 27 of May, counted, as is habitual, with the presence and the active participation in the same one of José Antonio Sedano, in its quality of Vice President of Eurovent and of José Mª Ortiz in representation of AFEC.

Preceded, the previous day, by the meeting of the Commission, the Assembly began with the approval of the minutes of the last meeting and with an ample report of the President on the activities developed by the association during the past exercise. This report led to the approval of the annual accounts for 2013 and the budget for 2014. The latter was preceded by detailed information on the association's present and future income.

During the meeting, the scope and content of the 1st Eurovent Summit to be held in Berlin, from 7 to 10 October, was reported on.
