The General Assembly of EUROVENT, the European Committee of Air Treatment and Refrigeration Manufacturers, took place during the month of May in Stockholm on the 29th.

The celebration of this Assembly was preceded by the meeting of the Commission, attended by José Antonio Sedano, in his capacity as Vice-President of the Board of Directors of Eurovent and Pilar Budí, head of the Assembly and the Commission.

It began with the approval of the Agenda and the Minutes of the previous Assembly, held on 27 May 2014. The outgoing President, Christian Herten, referred to the financial situation of the Association, and the greater specific weight that its shares are acquiring as a result of the incorporation of Morten Schmelzer as Director of Strategic Relations. Subsequently, Erick Melquiond, President of Eurovent Certita Certification, explained the development of the Certification and "Marketing Intelligence" activities, and gave a presentation on the market penetration of certified products.

The Assembly then unanimously approved the financial statements and the report of the audit committee, giving way to the presentation of the Action Plan 2015-2016. The Statutes and Internal Regulations were then approved, and a detailed report was presented on the budget for 2015 and a proposal for fees for 2016, both of which were approved.

The Board of Directors was renewed and Alex Rasmussen (Dansk Ventilation) was appointed President and José Antonio Sedano was re-elected Vice-President. Subsequently the nominations were carried out for the board of directors of Eurovent Services Company and of Eurovent Certita Certification, being reelected, in representation of AFEC, Javier Fernández of Bordons as holder and Javier Basterrechea as substitute.

Lastly it was ratified the incorporation of the associations ABOK and ISZH Montash (Russia), approved previously by the board of directors, as members of full right of EUROVENT.
