The 47 Annual General Assembly of Eurovent was celebrated the past June 2, 2006, in Helsinki, presided for the first time by Francisco Muñoz of Leyva, second Spanish President in the history of this European association.

The Assembly was initiated with a cocktail and informal supper of day Wednesday welcome 31 of May. Thursday they happened themselves during all the day the meetings of the Environmental and Technical Commissions. In this last one the responsible for the different working parties they reported of the situation of the themes I subject of their responsibility.

On the part of AFEC, José Mª Ortiz, responsible for the working party of the Guidelines RAEE and RUSP, presented a picture summary of the establishment of the Managing one RAEE in the countries of the European Union and another picture on the interpretation of the different states relating to the reach of the Managing one RUSP.

That same Thursday at night took place the formal dinner in which the traditional speeches of welcome they were pronounced and gratitude on the part of the host, Finnish association and organizer of the assembly and of the president of Eurovent.

Friday 2 of June the meeting of exactly said General Assembly was celebrated, in which the themes on the order of the day among the ones were undertaken that were found aside from the traditional above-mentioned to budgets, summary of activities, relation with other associations, new associates, etc. the most novel as the change by name of the association that, once accepted the proposal by the assembly, will pass to be called Instead of EUROVENT/CECOMAF, its denomination to date, and the predicted restructuring of the operating organization of the Association.

Previously to its ending the manager of AFEC outlined the program of the following General Assembly that will take place in Madrid the year 2007 and whose organization will be responsibility of AFEC.

It closed the act Francisco Muñoz of Leyva with a speech in which summarized it happened in the breast of Eurovent during the last year and outlined what should be the priority lines of the activity of the Association during the next years.
