The accounts for 2011 were then approved and the audit report was read, followed by the presentation of the budgets for 2012, which were approved after a round of clarifications requested by some of the assembly members.
Later, and in compliance with the provisions of its statutes, the Board of Directors of Eurovent Certification Co. was renewed, a process in which Ivan Campos from Termoven and Javier Basterrechea from Toshiba, among others, were elected. The latter as a substitute.
Once the above-mentioned election was over, the continuation of the conversations between Eurovent Certification and Certita was submitted to the vote of the attendees, which obtained the unanimous vote of those present.
Once the modification of the Eurovent Statutes and the acceptance of the planning proposal for the celebration of the following general assemblies had been approved by means of a vote, the open part of the assembly was held, in which the intervention of the European Commissioner Tobias Biermann of the European Commission's Directorate-General for Enterprise was highlighted as a guest, who spoke on the relationship between Ecodesign, Labelling and Ecolabelling and on the coordination that takes place between the different Directorates-General DG Enterprise and DG Energy, depending on the nature of the LOTs.

PRINCIPLE OF AGREEMENT BETWEEN EURO VENT CERTIFICATION COMPANY and CERTITA
Eurovent Certification and CERMA, two leading companies in the field of Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration (HVAC-R) Equipment Certification, have signed a Principle of Agreement to merge their highly complementary activities.
The intention of the signatories is to develop the proposed certifications, in line with the services they currently offer, through the NF, CSBAT and EUROVENT CERTIFICATION brands, while expanding the range of equipment covered by their activities and increasing their operations at international level. A comprehensive range of services for the voluntary certification of product performance (HVAC-R) is proposed, adapted to the specific needs of each country.
The aim is to support the development of innovative equipment and provide useful guidance to users and specifiers. The proposed merger would provide manufacturers with a single access to the certification most suited to their marketing needs.
CERTITA is specialized in certification in Heating (NF Mark Radiators and NF Mark Heat Pumps,..), Solar Thermal Energy (NF Mark Solar Domestic Heaters, CSTBat Mark Solar Devices and Solar Keymark) and Ventilation (NF Mark Controlled Mechanical Ventilation and CSTBat Air Diffusers,...)
