Air Conditioning Trade Fair 2009

The edition number thirteen of AIR CONDITIONING, closed their February 27 passed doors, with a feeling of satisfaction generalized among the businesses that participated as expositoras.

The majority decision of the businesses regarding its participation in the fair, was translated, on the one hand, in a worthy occupation of the fair space, though is certain that the absence of some business of them was noted you considered leaders, and by another, in an important figure of visitors, that being lower to that of the preceding edition, showed clearly the bet of the Spanish sector of the air conditioning It trades more symbolic.

The double condition of AFEC as member of the Committee Organizer, and like the host of institutions and agencies that visit the parlor, among them, ICEX, Spanish Institute of foreign trade; IDAE, Institute for the Diversification and the Energy Savings; Office of the secretary of foreign trade; foreign fair Institutions; Associations, etc., obliged the Association to been present and to participate directly in numerous activities that developed because of the Parlor. THE INAUGURATION.

The inauguration was presided by the Counselor of Economy and Estate of the Community of Madrid, Antonio Beteta, accompanied by José María Álvarez of the apple Tree, Executive President of IFEMA, Luis Eduardo Cortez, vice President, of said institution, Fermín Lucas, General Director of this company, as well as of María Valcarce, Director of the Parlor, and Aurelio Garcia, President of the Committee Organizer.

The act was initiated with the reception of the Counselor by the Committee Organizer to the complete one, to pass subsequently to the building 10, in whose entrance proceeded to the ceremony of cut of the inaugural tape, moment that collects the photo.

Subsequently all the delegation carried out an exhaustive visit by different stands of businesses, included that of our Association, without forgetting the corresponding one to that in which the products selected in the Gallery of Innovation were exposed.

It finished the inaugural ceremony, along the following days of fair, they happened themselves a series of activities that, of form summarized, they are related subsequently.

ICEX, Spanish Institute of foreign trade. As it has come happening in the last editions we receive in the stand of AFEC, the visit of Jimena Martínez of it Review, Jefa of the Department of Constructive Applications of the Division of consumer goods of said Institute, accompanied by Elena Wheel, Jefa of the Sector of Constructive Applications.

During the it traveled through by the stands of the Spanish businesses that participate individually or collective in activities of export financed by the ICEX, the growing loss of exporting independence of some manufacturers by its ownership to foreign groups was commented once more.

THE MASS MEDIA

National mass media. In the immediately previous days to the opening of the Parlor, AFEC collaborated intensely in the editing of several informative press releases about the sector and of the fair, that had subsequently extensive diffusion in the different informative media. Besides, in the course of it cited interview, agreed to maintain a permanent contribution between AFEC and ACR Latin America, for the bimonthly publication of articles on the air conditioning that be sent since the Association, as well as of news of the Spanish manufacturers.

EUROVENT. European association of air Conditioning-Makers and Cooling.

To invitation of AFEC met in Madrid the working party WG 15. "Buildings Ventilation systems" of EUROVENT. The meeting, that all the lasted day, included the assistance of representatives of several national associations, included the representative of AFEC.

MEETINGS. Taking advantage of the presence in fair of the great majority of the businesses and of the professionals of the sector, AFEC organized two meetings.

Extraordinary Generalassembly of AFEC. The assembly, celebrated Wednesday 25, was called to submit to approval of the associates the modification of various articles of the statutes.

CONFECLIMA. The project of creation of a confederation of the different associations that currently been present in our sector, received an impulse with the meeting celebrated Friday 27, to which attended the presidents, secretaries and managers of those associations. In the course of the meeting was verified the good reception to the project and future meetings were planned to examine different themes of that future confederation, among them a first rough draft of statutes.

FOROCLIMA and GALLERY OF INNOVATION. The participation of AFEC and of its associated businesses in those activities had faithful reflection in the important number of presentations presented in Forum Climate and in the noticeable presence of our businesses in it cited Gallery. This presence was completed with the action, of Pilar Budí, Enclosed to the General Direction of AFEC, like the moderator of some of the presentations of the products of the Gallery of Innovation.

You VISIT. The stand of AFEC received, along the numerous contest you visit, that took advantage of to do delivery of a pamphlet published in three languages, that, among another information, includes the relation brought up to date of the associates of AFEC.

It visits of Shows Convegno. Olga Pons representative in Spain of Shows Convegno, he visited our stand, accompanied by the director of the contest Paola Sarco, to be interested for the presence in happiness fair, of AFEC and of his associated businesses in a stand grouped.

He visits of the Chinese associations. CRAA, Chinese Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning Industry Association, and CAR, Chinese Refrigeration Association. Both visits were related to the possibility of contribution among our respective associations, in themes such as assistance to fairs, normalization, and international actions. From AFEC open a door to that contribution was left, but was explained that great part of those possible joint actions they are carried out currently in ICARMA, through EUROVENT.

You visit to the stands of the businesses. The presence in fair was taken advantage of by Pilar Budí and José Mª Ortiz to visit the major possible number of present businesses in the fair, given the practical impossibility to do it the remainder of the year.
