Eurovent, European Committee of Air Processing Team-Makers and Cooling, celebrated the past day 1 of June its 55 General Assembly, in Brussels. Previously, the previous day, took place the meeting of the Environmental Commission and a special assembly of the representatives of the national associations to treat on Eurovent Certification Company.

The representation of AFEC was the duty of Javier Fernández of Bordons, vice president of Eurovent, José M^to Ortiz, delegate of the Association in the General Assembly and Cecilia Salamanca, in its quality of member of the Commission.

Eurovent Certification Co.

In the framework of the different activities developed during the celebration of the General Assembly, took place, May 31, the meeting of the delegates of the different national associations to analyze and to discuss the Principle in agreement signed between Eurovent Certification and CERTITA, for fuse its activities. The intention and the objectives of this agreement are collected in the explanatory note that accompanies to this outline.

The General Director of Eurovent Certification Co. explained the assistants the general lines of this fusion and the to be hoped for advantages of the same not alone one for the business but, above all, for the manufacturers that certify their products.

Unanimously of the assistants agreed for-continue with the development of these negotiations, with a view to a future agreement that would promote and, previsi-blemente, would assure the future of Eurovent Certification Company.

Eurovent Commission

As already it is tradition, and taking advantage of the presence of all the delegates and members of the Commission, the Executive Director of Eurovent, Joop Hoogkamer, summarized the assistants the activities developed along the year 2011 in the breast of the Commission, and specifically by the working party created inside her, as well as the evolution and current situation and future of the different Regulations that develop or they complement The Managing one 2009/125, on requirements of applicable ecological design to the products related to the energy, and the Managing one 2010/30, relating to the indication of the consumption of energy and other resources on the part of the products related to the energy.

General assembly

The meeting, that began with the reading of the Rules on the Competence that govern all the meetings of the Association, continued with the approval of the minutes of the assembly of the year 2011 and with the corresponding agenda.

Subsequently the President, Carlo Grossi, summarized the activities and politics of Eurovent during the exercise, leading to the Executive Director that presented the Report of Management and explained the main actions of the Commission in that period.

Subsequently the accounts pertaining to the year were approved 2011 and the report of the audit read itself, that followed by the presentation of the budgets for the exercise 2012, approved after a round of explanations requested for some of the assembly members.

Later, and in compliance with the arranged thing in their statutes, proceeded to the renewal of the board of directors of Eurovent Certification Co., process in which they turned out to be chosen, among others, Iván Fields of the business Termoven and Javier Basterrechea of Toshiba. This last one as substitute.

It finished the previously mentioned election, was submitted to voting of the assistants the continuation of the conversations between Eurovent Certification and Certita that obtained the unanimous vote of the presents.

Once it approved, by means of voting, the modification of the Statutes of Eurovent and the acceptance of the proposal of planning for the celebration of the following general assemblies, the celebration of it led to itself splits open of the assembly in which emphasized the intervention, like the guest, of the European commissioner Tobias Biermann of the General Direction of Businesses of the European Commission that discoursed on the relation among Ecodiseño, Labeling and Ecoetiquetado and on the coordination that takes place between the different general directions DG Enterprise and DG Energy, depending on the nature of the LOTs.

It is worthwhile to mention the presence in the assembly of Dmitry Kuzin and of Alexey Busakhin of the Russian association APIC, that has determined to be join with Eurovent as member of full right, and of Joao Antero Cardoso of the Portuguese association EFRIARC that is considering it.

PRINCIPLE IN AGREEMENT BETWEEN EURO VENT CERTIFICATION COMPANY and CERTITA

Eurovent Certification and CERMA, two N leaders business! field of the Heating Teams Certification, Ventilation, air conditioning and Cooling (HVAC-R), they have signed a Principle in agreement to fuse their activities that are highly complementary.

The intention of the signatories is to develop the proposed certifications, in line with the services that offer currently, by means of the marks NF, CSBAT and EUROVENT CERTIFICATION, to the time that they expand the object teams range of their activities and they increase their operating capacity to international level. An integral offering of services for the voluntary certification of the benefits of the products is proposed (HVAC-R), adapted to the specific needs of each country.

The objective is to support the development of innovative teams and to offer an useful guide to users and prescriptores. This project is framed in the general objectives of decrease of the greenhouse effect emissions and in the improvement of the energy efficiency, in which plays an important role the promotion of the benefits of the products. The fusion in project would provide the manufacturers an only access to the most adequate certification to its needs of marketing.

CERTITA is specialized in certification in Heating (Radiators NF Mark and Bombs of Heat NF Mark, ..), Thermal Solar Energy (Domestic Solar Heaters NF Mark, Solar Devices CSTBat Mark and Solar Keymark) and Ventilation (Mechanical Ventilation Controlled NF Mark and Diffusers of Air CSTBat...)

The main activity of EUROVENT CERTIFICATION is the certification, operand to European level, of the benefits of the products of HVAC-R.

Both companies are entities certificadores reputable according to the norm of reference IN 45011.

The intention of the signatories is to finish the process by the end of 2012.
