General Assembly 2010

From the 11 to June 13, 2010, has been celebrated in Zaragoza, the General Assembly of AFEC, pertaining to it happened in the exercise 2009, in which besides the opportune meetings they have taken place different social activities, in which they have participated the assembly members and their companions.

The first act was the meeting of board of directors, celebrated on the 11 in the morning, that same day in the afternoon developed the Ordinary General Assembly of the Association, to which continued the celebration of a cocktail and subsequent to have supper.

The next day, the assembly members and their companions visited Tarazona and the Monastery of Veruela, finishing the day with a supper in which the acts developed because of this Assembly were closed.

Board of directors

The celebration of this meeting took place at 10 o'clock h, in the Japanese Parlor of the Hotel Palafox of it cited city, being developed in the course of the same one the themes collected in the corresponding Order of business.

In the point relating to Compliance in agreement the different treated themes in the previous Meeting were reviewed, among the ones that they were found: The Platform against the Slowness; world heritage Cities Project; Statistics of Market; AIR CONDITIONING Organizer Committee 2011, reporting on this point the General Director, José Mª Ortiz, of the constitution of said Committee and of the composition of the same one.

In the point third on the order of the day relating to Highly and Low, the incorporation of the business was approved ALDER VENTILATION, like the Associate of Number of AFEC.

In the section pertaining to the preparation of the subsequent Ordinary General Assembly, the General Director reported on the development predicted of the same one, being commented diverse aspects relating to his Order of business and other details of organizing kind.

Inside the point relating to Various Matters, he fits to emphasize the announcement on the part of Jorge Gómez of his withdrawal, like the representative of KOOLAIR in the board of directors of AFEC, proposing José Tomás Susarte, General Director of it cited business, as his replacement in it cited representation. The members of board of directors express their gratitude by the contribution that has come lending to the Association in their board of directors member quality and of vice President of AFEC, and they accept the incorporation of José Tomás Susarte, in representation of Koolair.

Joins General Ordinary

The President, Javier Fernández of Bordons, opened this meeting, welcoming the assistants, proceeding subsequently to the reading of their letter, introductory of the Memory of the exercise 2009, in which reports of a Strategic Plan that will develop along the next 4 years, in which the areas of priority action of the Association for this period they have defined themselves, among the ones that themselves they find:

Increasing the presence of the businesses in the markets of export.
Prompting the presence of AFEC in different agencies and companies, so much to national level as the European, emphasizing the active participation in EUROVENT.
Reinforcing the structure of personnel of the Association, increasing the staff, to include greater technical capacities.
Promoting the innovation among the associated businesses, as well as the certification of the goods and services that the same offer.

In the course of the Assembly, the General Director, José Mª Ortiz, proceeded to the reading of the Report of Management that figures in the Memory of the exercise 2009, and to the development of the same one, dedicating special attention to some of its sections, among the ones that fits to stand out: The Economic Environment; The Market; the Institutional Relations, emphasizing on this point the contact maintained with diverse autonomous regions, in relation to the implementation of the Plans Renew of air conditioning; The Information in the Association; the activities of Export and of Normalization; the Guidelines and European Regulations that affect to our sector, etc.

In the section pertaining to the Guidelines did special emphasis in the importance of some of these legislative texts, as the Managing one 2009/28/CE, relating to the promotion of the use of energy originating in renewable sources.

Once it finished the exposition of the Memory, did a brief outline of the businesses that recently they have been incorporated to AFEC, some as associates of number, as: Novovent, Panasonic, Sauter and Swegon and other as Associates adhered, like Haier, LG Electronics and Samsung.

Next, and in the section relating to the accounting states of AFEC and SERVIAFEC, the Treasurer, Eugenio of Miguel, analyzed in detail the state of the Annual Accounts of the exercise 2009, as well as the budgets of both companies for the year 2010.

The assembly members approved, unanimously, the Report of Management, the Memory, the Annual Accounts of 2009, and the budgets pertaining to the year 2010.

Upon finalizing the meeting, Eloy of Alone was directed the assembly members to announce them that was its last meeting as the Secretary general, since left their charge, and did a brief one traveled through by the path of the Association, since their up to now current starts, recalling the people that, like he, they have formed part of the history of AFEC.

The President thanked him the contribution lent during the years that has exercised as the Secretary general, as well as the work carried out like member of the board of directors and, during some years, as President of the Association.

Once it finalized the meeting and in order to bringing to light, more in depth, the activities that in AFEC come developing, proceeded to the presentation of two titled presentations: "Introduction to the Programs of Certification of Eurovent", given by Cecilia Salamanca of the Technical Department of the Association and "The Statistics of Market of AFEC and its evolution", developed by Pilar Budí, Enclosed to General Direction. In the corresponding article of this bulletin is commented more extensively the content of the same.

Once it finished the workday, gave beginning the social program, with the celebration of a cocktail and subsequent to have supper that took place in the Hotel Hiberus of Zaragoza, with the participation of more than 100 people, between assembly members and companions.

The next day a visit was carried out to Tarazona, considered as one of the most representative localities of the Mudejar art, that counts on more than two thousand years of antiquity, where was done a traveled through by its old streets and by the historic helmet, visiting the bishop's palace, the Church of Holy María Mary magdalene, the cloister of the church of San Francisco of you Grasp, etc.

Subsequently the participants were transferred to Edge of the Moncayo where a food was celebrated. After eating the Monastery was visited of Veruela, abbey that dates from the century XII, built by the monks of the order of the cister to the feet of the Moncayo.

The Assembly finished with the celebration of a supper in the Palace of the Real Armory of Cavalry of Zaragoza, headquarters of this Real of saragossa Corporation, whose Secretary-Gentleman, Exmo. Mr. Luis from Navarre and Elola, received the assembly members to their arrival, explaining them the history of this institution, that is one of the oldest of Aragon, as well as some of the requirements required to their members, that, besides contributing to the compliance of their statutory end, they exercise an important work of cultural promotion of the city of Zaragoza.

This Renaissance palace, built during the third one and quarter decade of the century XVI, example of the model of aragonese house-palace, is known also as House of Miguel Donlope, notable of saragossa jurist, that was who sent him to build. In their facade diverse elements are appreciated, that became typical of these aragonese constructions.

To the term of the supper the President, Javier Fernández of Bordons, closed all the acts of this General Assembly and thanked the assistants its participation in the same one, citing them for the next year.

In the development of this presentation, Pilar Budí went back to the year 1993, year in which AFEC began to carry out statistics of market, explaining the evolution that the same have experienced since then, and the great increase in the number of participating businesses, passing from 25 businesses in their starts, at 60 o'clock that participate currently of which, some of them, they do it in 2 ó 3 Different statistics.

Introduction to the Programs of Certification of Eurovent

Javier Fernández of Bordons and Cecilia Salamanca In said presentation, Cecilia Salamanca, began standing out the most important aspects of the Programs of Certification, such as:

In the course of the presentation exposed the steps to continue and the process of certification, since the manufacturer is put in contact with Eurovent to the obtaining of the certificate, with two programs as an example, Units Fan Coils and Air Processing Units.

The speaker, did mention to a point of the strategic Plan of AFEC 2010-2013 referring to the services of advising that the association will lend to the businesses that desire to certify its products.
