General Assembly 2009

The General Assembly of AFEC, pertaining to the exercise 2008, has taken place from the 22 to May 24, in Seville. To the business meetings, continued the development of the social acts in which they participated the assembly members and their companions.

The meeting of board of directors was the first one of the acts and took place on the 22 in the morning; that same day in the afternoon, the meeting of the General Assembly was celebrated, that had the character usually and Extraordinary, to which continued the supper of welcome. On Saturday 23 of May, in the morning, was dedicated to visit different symbolic places of Seville, at noon all the participants were transferred to a farm dedicated to the young of fighting bulls, where took place a food and at night a formal dinner with the one was celebrated that the acts of this Assembly were closed.

At 10 o'clock h. of Friday, day 22 of May, the meeting of board of directors in the Parlor Veronica of the Hotel was celebrated Columbus of Seville, in the same one treated the different themes, object on the order of the day of the meeting.

It finished its exposition announcing that this is its last mandate as the President, since by professional reasons is not presented like candidate to the reelection of member of the board of directors of AFEC, and thanks the associates, to its companions of board of directors, as well as to the management team of the Association the innumerable samples of friendship and consideration received along all these years.

The assembly members approved, unanimously, the Report of Management, the Memory, the Annual Accounts of the year 2008, as well as the budgets pertaining to the year 2009.

The Assembly approved, likewise, unanimously, the proposal done by the treasurer, relating to to leave without effect the increment of the quotas of associate of the year 2009.

Another point presented to the assembly members and that likewise he obtained, unanimously, the approval of the same, was the participation of AFEC, as constituent associate in the creation of a Confederation of Associations of the sector of air conditioning (CONFECLIMA) and its integration as the associate of the same one.

The meeting finished, with the gratitude to Aurelio Garcia by its contribution and dedication during the years that has showed off the charge of President of AFEC.

Subsequently the assembly members and its companions, some 100 people on the whole, they participated in a supper that was celebrated in The Dominion of Ginés, situated in the outskirts of Seville.

The next day, Saturday, the participants in the Assembly carried out a visit guided to the Real Fortresses, followed by a traveled through tourist by some of the most symbolic places of Seville, as is the Plaza of Spain situated in the Park of María Luisa.

At noon all the participants were transferred to the Pasture The limestone quarry, farm that counts on a stockbreeding of fighting bulls, where was performed a traveled through by the same one in trailers thrown by tractors, being celebrated subsequently a food in the dependences of the farm.

The activities celebrated because of this Assembly closed with the celebration of a supper in the House Palace Salinas, of the century XVI, situated in the historic helmet of Seville, where the best Renaissance combines with the Gothic one and the Mudejar in a harmony of unique styles in the world.
